I'm a guy to start with, but how do i determine what hair style suits me best? would i go by the shape of my face? if so how do i figure it out?

well u woudl go by your face shape and the easiet way to do that is look in the mirror with someone else, maybe your mum or a friend and help to discover what shape you are. If you have a square jaw and a sraight forehead, then you have a square head.

If you have biggish cheeks and a rounded chin, u have a round face.

If your hair line dips in in the middle and ur chin is pointed then u have a heart shaped face.

From there you can either ask what your friend thinks, but a professional is always someone you should ask if u have no idea. But with longish hair there is always the chance taht cutting it short might be a dramatic change and you might not like it and i have yet to hear of a guy with hair extensions unless u want to be the first lol

with short hair you can spike it up, which seems to be popular lately and it is easy to change. i wouldnt say that sweeping fringe is going to stay in mens fashions but u coudl have a a small one put in.

I think your best bet would be go to a decent barbers and ask them to recommend what would look best on you.

Try and see what shape your face is. Look for other men with the same shape face. What style do they have? Take them all into account, then think what one would suit you best. Or as an easy way out, just go to the barbers as the others said.
