The hair style is similar to the one monroe occasionally wore.

Oooo.... So much fun.. and retro is so in this fall!!!! Roller set dear... or hot rollers... I would use a 1 1/2 inch roller base. You can take the hair straight back in the rollers using a brick lay method, so you don't end up with scalp showing. Your bottom two rows, I would roll the hair up (so it curls out on the bottom) Put rollers in on wet hair treated with mousse. After rollers are in... using a hair spray or setting spray to lock in the curls. Take rollers out, backcomb a little bit... Smooth top layer of hair blending it all in, spray and TA Da!!!!!
