What do you do when your BFF hates your hair style?

My friend hates my new hair style! I my hair cut shorter (shoulder length instead of halfway down my back) and a perm that is slightly tigher than my old style of perm. I like it, I think it is very flattering to my face shape and everyboy else seems to like it but this friend hates it! She is constantly begging me to change it because she thinks it is ugly. She hates curly hair to begin with and swears that my fiancee will dump me over having curly hair.

My fiancee says he likes it, so do my friends and family but my BFF says that they are all lying to protect my feelings.

She says I look like Weird Al or SideShow Mel. We are not high school kids, we are 23 years old so I'm sick of this petty cat like behavior!

well, the first thought that came to my mind was that she was probably jealoused of u, because that happened to me once, and i considered changing because what my best friend said. and i know u heart this a lot cuz it's actually very true! a true friend will respect ur feelings and cheer for u even if they think u cant do it. plus, if she hates curly hair, why can't u like it? it might not look good on her but it definitely looks good on u! so trust ur instincts and not another person. she SHOULD be congratualating u, not rebeling. think over this situation carefully before doing anything.
