I'm looking for a low maintenance hair style, but I want to try something different. I'm almost 26 and the long long hair is looking a bit tired for me. I'm going to cut it to just below the shoulder. I have a round face and I am very busy, working 3 jobs. At one job I must look very professional (makeup etc), another job is from home, and at the last I need to have my hair pulled up (food service). What should I do with it? It is thick and wavy, hard to manage.

Instead of cutting it why don't you buy yourself a very good STRAIGHTENING iron, one that heats to 400 degrees F, and iron your hair. You will end up with that long sleek look that all the famous folks have and with the right hair products (straightening balms and shine balms) it will look amazing.

Just get a trim and a bit off the front sides, maybe bangs if you want (but then you will have to get them cut every month or so) but by straightening it, and maybe putting a few thin streaks in it you will look like a million bucks.

If you're not sure have your hairdresser straighten it for you and then decide.

well if ur cutting it below ur shoulder's u should srtaighten it sometimes. sometimes u could put little clips in ur hair. u could also try half up half down. if u want u could layer ur hair. that would look cute.

I would just get it cut until it sits right on your shoulders so that you can still put it up but still have the length....I would also get some layers put into it too.
