Almost, the layering in my real hair is a bit more extreme than the avatar, and I actually have chocolate brown hair, not black hair. I just thought the black looked better. The clothes and tattoos pretty much resemble mine though.

yeah, thats a really cute cut (:

its very hard to suggesat a haircut to you without seeing your face shape, eyes etc.

but the look thats in right now (what i have) is just a cute side fringe (like jessicas. dont make it too small or it just looks like a shorter bit of hair.) and make sure you get layers. layers are the best (:

i suggest printing out that photo and going to the hairdressers and asking them what they think. the hairdressers are usually proffessionals and will give you a 'do that will suit your hair.

True crazy can only be met if you're willing to dye your hair. Instead or crazy, How about sexy? Try www.victoriassecret.com and check out pictures of Adriana Lima or Alessandra Ambrosio or I guess Gisele Bundchen. They have long, flowy, and wavy hair that has a lot of volume. I think you can go for their look before 1) you have the right hair color, 2) you have long hair.

You rarely see anyone walking down the street with hair as gorgeous as theirs. You'll definitely catch attention, trust me.

To achieve the look, you might try a soft perm (that gives gentle waves but more defined than what you have now), with layers that complement those waves. Take any picture you like to a hair salon, and the hairdressers will know exactly what to do.

The best thing is to go to a reputable salon and ask for advice from a stylist. Most high-end salons also have beauty consultants who are able to show you the best way to wear makeup, taking into consideration your coloring, features, etc. Don't look for this to be a cheap fix, however. If you want to go low-budget, go to the cosmetic counter at a department store, such as Dillard's or Macy's and ask for a makeover. They will usually do this for free, hoping to sell you their products. Unfortunately, this will not address your concerns with your hair.

Try John Fridea hair products, they work awsome, visit his website and you can get a lot aof info on there on how to curl hair and make it stay that way for your party.

-wash ur haur. Shampoo and condtion

-pat hair till its dry but still damp and moist

-blow-dry every peice of hair until its compleytey dry

-divide your hair into strands so you can start curling it

-afterwards, apply the John Frideas hair serum for curls. Good luck and you can style it anywhere you want to and find something that looks cute.

I think there are a lot of different things you could do to your hair. Are you wanting to have an updo or keep it down? It also depends on your facial shape, what will look good on you! You could try and curl up the ends with a big barrel curling iron... You could curl it all and put it up, but that is a little fancy. Look through some magazines and search for models with your facial shape, I bet you will find something cute that way!

Okay when reading what your skin looks like and your hair already does, i am going to tell you to cut your hair to your shoulders. Get layers and then flip it out or you can straighten it too, either way looks great. I use to have my hair just past my boobs and now that all changed, i got my hair cut to my shoulders and flip it out and occasionally i straighten it, when i don't have a lot of time...Little extra, to make it even cuter get side swept bangs! You can always pull them back if you get sick of them!

one hair style that is one of my recent favorites is the poof. there are a few ways to do it. if i'm feeling lazy i'll gather my hair at the top as if i were going to do a half-up half-down pony, but then i twist it, push if forward (creating the poof) and pin it. then put your hair up or leave it down, and it looks cute if you have side-swept bangs too. another way to do this is to take the hair at the top of your head and rat it (or back-brush it, same thing) in layers so it poofs up.

Take out the rollers, when dry, and separate the curls with your fingers applying a shine serum like Citre Shine to them. This looks really nice. If your texturizer has made your hair naturally curly or wavy you can use a leave-in conditioner and a light mousse (Suave Aloe vera) to wear it natural. I'm sure either way it will come out great.

Just make sure you moisturize your hair daily because the chemical process of a texturizer can make hair dry.

I just had my waist-length hair cut by my long-time stylist (of about 15 years). I gave him only four directives before he began: Make it age-appropriate, flattering, easy to maintain, and no coloring. The resulting cut is just OK and not the transporting experience I'd hoped for. While it's true that the new style's unfamiliarity may be adding to my unhappiness, it's just not flattering. In fact, it's the way my mother-in-law wears her hair.

If you were me, would you live with it, call the stylist and tell him the situation, or make an appointment with someone new?

And if you suggest revisiting the stylist, would you expect that I would have to pay again?

I know I can't see it but you may want to leave it alone, because some times a little bit of new growth starts making it hang allot better,sometimes things that look bad or to blunt or what ever kind of blend in with some new growth, some new growth can even blend the cut when it is actually cut wrong also. If you have it re cut,you may still hate it and your hair will be even shorter. Trust me I totally know where you are coming from. Give it three or four weeks and then if you really can not stand it go have it tweaked a little at the salon. Good luck

so im guessing your hair is natural. u have plenty of choices. u can braid your hair in cornrows and then after about 4 days or so, take them out half way. so like da top is braided and da back is all full and curly. theres alot u can do.

The other day on Makeover I seen a young lady that had very tight nappy curly hair, the hairdresser put a relaxer in it and twisted into tight ringlet, before that he trimmed it to "stack" up and it was drop dead gorgeous. That's one and then I have seen the long comb twisted and placed to make the front and sides really smooth. Try the relaxer tho you can probably get it in Sally's. You will be GORGEOUS DAHLING!

Your going to have to wait for it to grow first of all. Your hair is not even close to the length of the style.

Also, it may jut be in your genetics, some people can grow it and some can't, mine personally does flip out at the sides, but I have a big cowlick at the front that makes it look awkward. So, yea, it's mostly genetics.

Don't be disappointed if it doesn't work out for you, a lot of girls hate guys with the flippy hairstyle and prefer short hair.

well u woudl go by your face shape and the easiet way to do that is look in the mirror with someone else, maybe your mum or a friend and help to discover what shape you are. If you have a square jaw and a sraight forehead, then you have a square head.

If you have biggish cheeks and a rounded chin, u have a round face.

If your hair line dips in in the middle and ur chin is pointed then u have a heart shaped face.

From there you can either ask what your friend thinks, but a professional is always someone you should ask if u have no idea. But with longish hair there is always the chance taht cutting it short might be a dramatic change and you might not like it and i have yet to hear of a guy with hair extensions unless u want to be the first lol

with short hair you can spike it up, which seems to be popular lately and it is easy to change. i wouldnt say that sweeping fringe is going to stay in mens fashions but u coudl have a a small one put in.

Oooo.... So much fun.. and retro is so in this fall!!!! Roller set dear... or hot rollers... I would use a 1 1/2 inch roller base. You can take the hair straight back in the rollers using a brick lay method, so you don't end up with scalp showing. Your bottom two rows, I would roll the hair up (so it curls out on the bottom) Put rollers in on wet hair treated with mousse. After rollers are in... using a hair spray or setting spray to lock in the curls. Take rollers out, backcomb a little bit... Smooth top layer of hair blending it all in, spray and TA Da!!!!!

I have the same exact hair as you, except I'm 23. LOL. Well i usually put it into a high pony tail and I have a side bang so it adds more to my face. That look is elegant, yet basic. It gives a very nice style to my hair and goes good wih everything. (I wear it to college, and even work!!) Another hairstyle is if you straighten your hair and put a cute head piece in it like from claire's ( yeah, I'm 23 and I still shop there) that look works for me just fine and since we have the same hair, it will most likely work for you. If this is going to be an after school activity, I would suggest having someone style it for you, if you find it difficult to do it your self. But there is nothing wrong with you doing it yourself. You will need products to help give it volume. take some time and play with your hair and hairstyles, the more you play and try different things you will find styles that you like, and that it is not as difficult as you thought.

If you have at least shoulder length hair, part your hair slightly off-center, then pull back your hair into a half ponytail (the traditional half up, half down). To create variety, instead of pulling all the hair on top into the ponytail, leave about an inch of hair closest to your forehead out of the ponytail and let it either hang down to frame your face, or tuck behind your ears. I get the best results when I curl my hair first with a 1 or 2 inch barrel curling iron. This is a really cute look that can be both serious and playful. Hard to describe hair. If you ever watch The Girls Next Door, check out Holly's hair. She does this style a lot. As for the diet, you just need to find foods that you like that are healthy, and make those for meals often. However, remember that too much of a healthy thing can still be bad. For example, spaghetti can be healthy, but you don't need 3 helpings. I like to keep raspberries, peaches, cottage cheese, and salad fixings on hand because they are my favorite healthy things.

Well I'm bored with what my hair looks like, it is not really styled (it is dark brown and goes down to my shoulders and is all the same leangth). I usualy straighten it or tie it up but I would like some different ideas. Please give me any suggestions. don't ask me about hair styles for guys. my hairs falling. getting it shaved this week. I say as long as the style suits its fine. I think for lads its either the bold look or medium to long styles - I suppose as mentioned before shaggy.

For gals - again agree with others, rihannas got a good style. But I have a preference for longer hair styles, not desi long (although its looks amazing especialy when the hairs in good condition) but just below shoulder length. Again it has to be a little wavey or naturaly straight otherwise it can look flat if not done properly and then it looks false.

Happy 16th birthday to your sister. Ok you can curl you hair and leave it out. My sister recently turned 16 like in July of last year and she was invited to a lot fo sweet 16's and most of the girls had their hair down in curls or they put it in a nice bun. Here use this depending on the shape of your head:

Round Face - you want to avoid lots of hair in your face. A slight fringe instead of a full bang is a good idea. A side part is sometimes a good suggestion.

Square Shaped Face - side part and nice layering is also good for a soft and flattering look.

Oval Shape Face - can pretty much get away with almost any hairstyle.

Long Face - Stay away from very short hair. Soft layers around the face are always good.

If you have a crimper you can also crimp your hair it would look nice.

How about trying a half up, wavy style like Maria Menounos? This style is becoming quite popular and is very flattering.

1. First apply a frizz-ease serum to tame fly aways, but use sparingly so you don't weigh your hair down.

2.Next put hair in hot rollers or use a curling iron.

3.Once hair is curled, comb through it with your finger tips and shake it a little to make it wavy.

4. Pull pack a thin section of front hair (including bangs) twist and push forward just a little (be careful though so it isn't to "valley girl") and secure with a small clip or some bobby pins.

5. Finish with a light spritz of hairspray to hold your style.

Well a cute hair style that i would do for a party would be long curls. Like in order to get you hair really poofy but in a cute you alot of hair spray and start from underneath. Put your hair in a hafl ponytail then clip the pony tail up so its not in the way and spiral your hair all around then take small parts of the pony tail out and spiral those too. If you dont knnow how do spiral i would suggest putting the clip of the curling iron on the outside and curling it in. Hold for about 10 seconds. make sure to bring in as for as you can. Make sure to spray every layer you do. Once done flip hair over and swish as you hairspary it. If you dont want to use alot of hairspary hold culs longer

My friend hates my new hair style! I my hair cut shorter (shoulder length instead of halfway down my back) and a perm that is slightly tigher than my old style of perm. I like it, I think it is very flattering to my face shape and everyboy else seems to like it but this friend hates it! She is constantly begging me to change it because she thinks it is ugly. She hates curly hair to begin with and swears that my fiancee will dump me over having curly hair.

My fiancee says he likes it, so do my friends and family but my BFF says that they are all lying to protect my feelings.

She says I look like Weird Al or SideShow Mel. We are not high school kids, we are 23 years old so I'm sick of this petty cat like behavior!

well, the first thought that came to my mind was that she was probably jealoused of u, because that happened to me once, and i considered changing because what my best friend said. and i know u heart this a lot cuz it's actually very true! a true friend will respect ur feelings and cheer for u even if they think u cant do it. plus, if she hates curly hair, why can't u like it? it might not look good on her but it definitely looks good on u! so trust ur instincts and not another person. she SHOULD be congratualating u, not rebeling. think over this situation carefully before doing anything.

i think that pic is cute. You could even do that at home with a waving iron and some bobby pins. Just wave it with a heavy side part, put a little pomade through the hair and messily pin some of the hair back. Or a stylist can do a faux updo with a similar technique. Half up and down,put some bangs down but to the side but only put the bangs down on your bad side cause then you can show off your good side.Also maybe even put some curls in the ponytail or in the bottom half.

I dunno. When you curl your hair, it goes much much shorter. You might want to actually do a straight style, because the curls are likely to be above your eyes if they're done like that.

The "side-bangs" hairstyle (I guess that's what it's called, lol) is really cute and I may get my hair cut that way next week. The things is, I haven't had bangs in years so my new "bangs" will probably be longer than usual (maybe down past my nose or near my chin) and I was wondering, how hard is it to keep up with this style and what should I do to get the "side-bangs" look? (Examples are the daughter on the show "The War At Home", or Sanjaya Malakar on American Idol the day he straightened his hair for his performance)

the only prob i had was training my bangs to stay put. my hair was like yours so my bangs, after they were cut, kept wanting to move over and not stay in the middle of my face. you just have to work w/ them by blow drying them in place everymorning (and if you are like me, resisting the urge to push them off my face...).

The biggest mistake that people make is going to a hairstylist that hasn't gotten any education past beauty school.

So if you do find a hair stylist that keeps up on their education you should really let them recommend a style and fringe length for you.

If they know what they're doing and the proper cutting technique then it won't be hard to maintain at all.

I've worked in the hair industry for years and I work for a company that educates hairdressers on a higher level so our company is constantly having new courses as to how to use different techniques in all the newest hair trends.

So once you find a great hairdresser, go to a consultation and tell them what you're looking for but let them be the ones that choose a fringe that's right for your hair length and texture.

Same problem, I have curly hair too and I love it, but hate it. If you don't want to straighten it all, you could do what I do as a back-up hairstyle and just striaghten your bangs (if you have any) and let them hang with the rest in a ponytail, bun, hair clip etc. Hope I helped!

Well, you could always straighten your hair. Check with a stylist first though. I have two friends with curly hair. One can straighten her hair and it looks gorgeous, while the other, it frays and damages her hair. Also, you can pull half of it back with a pretty clip or barrette. The trick to school hair is to make it simple but amazingly cute. Hint: sometimes magazines like Seventeen, or even online has tips for styling different textures and thicknesses of hair. Lastly, do you have small, tight ringlets, or looser curls? This also plays a factor. I hope I was of assistance.

one style i like to do is:

put your hair in your infamous ponytail.

take your hand to the bottom of the pony tail and grab your

hair and scrunch it to your head.

Pin all the loose ends.

Maybe leave a few tendrils in front.

Another is to side part it.

Then leave maybe a quarter inch in front.

Take your fingers and point them upward from your ears and

pull half of your hair up into a cute clip or barrette.

Pull the front quarter inch behind your ear.

A down do could be to take end of a pen that doesn't write and zig zag it down your part.

Then put your finger in the whole it creates and pull your hair apart on each side.

This should create a zig zag part.

I am 15(in case yall dont know) and I want a hairstyle that will really stand out but not be too "OMG" you know? I am sorta into the punk stuff but not completely. I am in my teens so I am still tying to find myself as well as my style. I want something cute and fun but with a badass look as well. I want to keep some length so nothing above the shoulders plz. I have found layers work best with my hair type. Plz help me and GIVE ME PICS! thank you SO much yall.

I can't really give you pics, but if you're into the 'punkish' look, but don't want to overdo it or aren't too into it, try some red (not orange) or bright pink streaks, and get some long straight layers. Have fun!

I'm looking for a low maintenance hair style, but I want to try something different. I'm almost 26 and the long long hair is looking a bit tired for me. I'm going to cut it to just below the shoulder. I have a round face and I am very busy, working 3 jobs. At one job I must look very professional (makeup etc), another job is from home, and at the last I need to have my hair pulled up (food service). What should I do with it? It is thick and wavy, hard to manage.

Instead of cutting it why don't you buy yourself a very good STRAIGHTENING iron, one that heats to 400 degrees F, and iron your hair. You will end up with that long sleek look that all the famous folks have and with the right hair products (straightening balms and shine balms) it will look amazing.

Just get a trim and a bit off the front sides, maybe bangs if you want (but then you will have to get them cut every month or so) but by straightening it, and maybe putting a few thin streaks in it you will look like a million bucks.

If you're not sure have your hairdresser straighten it for you and then decide.

well if ur cutting it below ur shoulder's u should srtaighten it sometimes. sometimes u could put little clips in ur hair. u could also try half up half down. if u want u could layer ur hair. that would look cute.

I am planning to go with a dark red ballgown and black cape with gloves etc. And for the last touch a venetian style mask but I need a sexy hairstyle to compliment it all. Anyone have any ideas? I have medium length hair. any help would be appreciated!!

The most extravagant and sexy masquerade ball hair I have ever seen was Kristin Dunst in Marie Antoinette...She has a partial updo, but the portion that is pulled up is extremely high on her head..I don't think you'd need to get that high, (or even if you could!) but the style itself is fantastic of the time period that these balls took place.

I couldn't find a still pic of the style but I have included a link from the movie that shows her hair..It's really a cool look for a masquerade ball!
